Kimberly Durst Cakes

I am Kimberly Durst.  I grew up commercial fishing in rural Alaska, was homeschooled, earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies from UAF.  After getting married to my college sweetheart and moving to Palmer, AK, I started this business.  I love skiing, adventures, the sea, boho-chic and vintage styling, and of course, baking.  While I love baking yummy things, I also immensely enjoy pairing colors, textures, and themes to express beautiful and delicious stories.  Cake decorating has become my career.  My work has been featured in Alaska Bride and Groom magazine.  I love making special cupcakes and fancy cakes for my clients to enjoy and to illustrate their events.  I look forward to making one for you!
